Shin-san is super helpful and great all around! He explained the whole process for getting a car registered on-base. The car I wanted didn’t have a back-up camera like I wanted, so he had one installed! It took longer to get our car because of the typhoon, but we were given a loaner car for the entire time, while Shin-san stayed in contact with us and kept us updated on the status. Highly recommended! You might find cheaper cars elsewhere, but you won’t have the same level of confidence knowing that if there’s anything wrong, Shin-san will give you a loaner while he checks out your car. Well worth the piece of mind!

We purchased our cars from CarMan in September 2017. It was by far the best deal out of multiple dealerships on island. We decided to purchase from a dealer due to the warranty, and multiple cars in the lemon lot were close to the same price, with less JCI and no warranty. Excuse me if I use the wrong terminology as I’m not mechanically inclined, but the coil was bad in one of the engines. My father was visiting and was able to diagnose the problem – I wrote CarMan on FB Messenger (I love that he is able to communicate this way as I never know if I’m being charged on my cell phone), and he brought the vehicle right in and was able to do a timely repair. My husbands car door as a squeaky something, and he’s waiting on the part from mainland, and will update me periodically to let me know he’s still tracking the minor issue. If we had to do it all over again we wouldn’t of changed anything, and this is comforting arriving to the island and not knowing all the ins and outs of the car market here. The cars are always cleaned after he works on them, he’s approachable, theres no issues with communication, and I find him to have a high level of integrity, which can be tricky at times in the business.
