Kafuu Resort Fuchaku

If you’re looking for luxury, Kafuu Resort Fuchaku in Onna, might just be the ticket. This Condo-hotel boasts stunning ocean views from every room, space to relax and unwind, top notch dining, and access to a plethora of activities.

Kafuu sits high above Onna, central Okinawa, with an incredible outlook. At night, you can see Cape Zanpa’s lighthouse twinkling in the distance. It’s a two minute walk to the closest beach and crystal clear waters. Hotel services include a concierge, laundry room ,gym, spa, on site dining, beach house, shops, pool (seasonal), and access to a huge selection of support items (such as irons, massage cushions, and cookware).

The rooms are huge, built to accommodate couples or families with high levels of comfort. Bedding is plush and cosy, though mattresses are a little firm. The rooms also include a Japanese style wet room, powder room, Japanese style smart toilet, four twin beds, separate master suite, kitchenette, seating area, dining table and chairs, TV, Wifi, and balcony with furniture.

Dining is a treat too. There are three places to choose from; the Deli, offering a range of Western and Okinawan dishes from 7.00am to 11.00pm; The Blue, a Yakiniku restaurant with top floor ocean views (great place to catch a sunset); and finally, The Orange, which serves European and Japanese cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Orange was my favorite, but it can’t beat the view from The Blue.
